Applied Mathematics (AM) is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancement of applied mathematics. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of applied mathematics. Applied mathematics at the Stanford Department of Mathematics focuses, very broadly, on the areas of scientific computing, stochastic modeling, and applied analysis. Some of the more specific areas of interest are, again broadly, signal processing, compressed sensing, imaging, fast numerical algorithms, and mathematical analysis of the physical phenomena in random media.
